Mission Statement-The Bergen County Police Chiefs Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) corporation whose Board consists of active and retired Police Chiefs as well as Associate, Affiliate and Honorary Life members of the Bergen County Police Chiefs Association.

The primary purpose of the Bergen County Police Chiefs Foundation is to identify and support the needs of active and retired US Military personnel in Bergen County and their families and provide financial support where needed.

The Bergen County Police Chiefs Foundation willalso identify and support charitable, educational and financial initiatives to Bergen County individuals and groups in need of assistance.

The Bergen County Police Chiefs Foundation is a 501(c) (3) Nonprofit Corporation

Bergen County Police Chiefs Association Partners with SUEZ to Support Veterans at Pony Power Therapy

2016july12 ppt-bcpcf-suezwebThis past week the Bergen County Police Chief’s Association for the first time partnered with SUEZ (formerly United Water) to support veterans through Pony Power Therapy.

The partnership provided for 10 veteran’s family members to participate in Operation Pony Power in Mahwah, New Jersey.  This was the fifth year the Bergen County Police Chiefs Foundation has particpated in the program as it continues on its’ mission to support our veterans throughout Bergen County.

bcpca donate pararmus vetsThis past week the Bergen County Police Chief’s Association through its Foundation continued with its’ annual mission of giving back to our veterans.  On Tuesday, November 10, 2015 Bergen County Police Chiefs Association President, Joseph T. Rutigliano (Wood-Ridge P.D.) and Bergen County Police Chiefs Foundation Chairman, Donald Rossi (Emerson P.D.) presented a check to the Paramus Veteran’s Home.

bcpcf donate ajt homeOn Thursday, November 12, 2015 members of the Bergen County Police Chiefs Association and Foundation presented $2000 in Department Store Gift Cards to the Alfred J. Thomas Home for Veterans as a result of its annual Gift Card Drive within the Bergen County Police Chiefs Association. bcpcf donate tracers

 

A donation was also made to the Bergen County TRACERS Program in support of Homeless Veterans.

 

Bergen County Police Chiefs Association & Foundation Support Paramus Veteran’s Home with Donation

On Monday, November 10, 2014, as is an annual tradition, the Bergen County Police Chiefs Association in conjunction with the Bergen County Police Chiefs Foundation presented a donation in support of the Paramus Veteran’s Home and our Veteran’s. Several Bergen County Chiefs both active and retired were present to HONOR our Veterans.  Some of those Chiefs in attendance are also veterans.  THANK YOU to ALL OUR VETERANS!  See Photos Below:

NOVEMBER 14, 2013-The Bergen County Police Chiefs Foundation made its annual donation to the Bergen County Veterans by supplying the home with clothing, toiletries, food, blankets, gift cards to local retailers as well as a $500 Donation.  This year the supplies were given to the Alfred J. Thomas Home for Veterans and Bergen County Tracers which supports homeless veterans.

for Children of Veterans

Hackensack, NJ  April 23, 2013  The Bergen County Police Chiefs Foundation today presented a check for $6,300 to representatives from Pony Power Therapies to give children of ten veterans the opportunity to attend a summer extended program.  Several members of the Foundation committee will be volunteering their time the week of August 5-8 during the Operation Pony Power week.  Veterans and their families are strongly urged to attend and take advantage of this tremendous opportunity.  Please visit the Pony Power web site http://www.ponypowernj.org to register for camp.  Also visit Pony Power Therapy’s Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/PPTherapies
